Premier Provider Services (PPS) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, and Connecticut’s Universal Website Accessibility Policy.
 

Standards & Conformance

  • Our digital content is designed to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the preferred standard for Connecticut state compliance.

  • Wherever possible, we strive to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA to align with evolving accessibility norms.

 

Ongoing Efforts

  • We conduct regular accessibility audits and monitor our site for issues such as:

    • Screen reader compatibility

    • Keyboard navigation and focus order

    • Sufficient color contrast

    • Descriptive alt text and ARIA labels

    • Captioning/transcripts for multimedia content 

 

Known Limitations

  • Some third-party tools or content may not fully meet WCAG standards.

  • Documents uploaded by users (e.g. PDF forms) might not be accessible.

  • Pages currently under development may miss advanced accessibility features. We are working continuously to address these and other issues.

HIPAA Compliance Section 

HIPAA & Credentialing Data
For consulting and credentialing engagements, PPS may collect and process provider information such as CVs, licenses, payer applications, tax IDs, and other sensitive data. PPS follows administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all applicable state laws.

  • All electronic communications are encrypted.

  • Access to provider data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

  • Data is stored securely and transmitted only as necessary to payers, networks, or facilities to complete enrollment or credentialing tasks.

  • Any breaches of protected information will be reported in accordance with HIPAA breach notification requirements.
